What You’ll Do
As a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor in the design and advancement of our products—balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability while collaborating cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design efforts for new products and enhancements to existing designs
- Evaluate designs for performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and manufacturability
- Analyse complex engineering challenges and deliver effective, innovative solutions
- Interpret customer specifications, industry codes, and manufacturing standards to ensure optimal design outcomes
- Review design results and align deliverables with marketing timelines, cost targets, and performance expectations
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and marketing teams to optimize product solutions
- Ensure proper application of transformer products within defined scope and requirements
- Support product launches and partner with operations during transition to production
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design systems and processes
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers
- Maintain and update technical documentation, standards, and design records
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends

Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in electrical engineering design with strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
- Solid understanding of transformer technology, including heat transfer, magnetics, dielectrics, and materials
- Strong foundation in mechanical design principles and product testing
- Proven ability to evaluate and adapt methods to solve complex engineering challenges
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align designs to strategic goals
- Confident communicator able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
