Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions listed below are representative of the duties performed in this role. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
- Build, assemble, inspect, and repair machines and mechanical components according to specifications
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform corrective repairs to restore functionality
- Perform preventative maintenance as directed to ensure equipment reliability
- Troubleshoot reported mechanical, electrical, or system issues in a timely manner
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Recommend corrective and preventative maintenance practices to machine and tool users
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report issues or repair needs
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Perform rebuilding, repair, and maintenance of welding leads
- Maintain, clean, and service paint equipment to ensure proper operation (paint guns, regulators, valves)
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience working as a mechanic or maintenance technician
- Strong knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, HVAC and related systems
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and instructions
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to workplace safety practices
- Required welding experience
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- One to two (1 to 2) years of related experience and/or training preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Proficiency using computers, including Microsoft Office applications
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, correspondence, and safety materials
- Ability to communicate effectively in one on one and small group settings
Physical Demands

- Regularly required to stand and walk
- Frequent use of hands for handling tools and equipment
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, or crawling
