What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for building, moving, and maintaining quality products and workspaces. Key responsibilities include:
- Assemble components and subassemblies by following blueprints, work instructions, and verbal guidance
- Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies safely and accurately
- Inspect and test parts and finished products to ensure high quality standards
- Prepare completed products and components for shipment
- Keep the facility and yard clean, organized, and operating efficiently—including the trailer yard, warehouse, slab, and equipment areas
- Operate tractors and forklifts to stage, move, load, and unload boat trailers and pallets
- Assist with unloading and building trailers to ensure everything is done right the first time
- Cross‑train in other departments and grow your skills as business needs evolve
Compensation
- Starting pay at $18.00 per hour
- Pay increases based on experience and skills

Qualifications:
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience. Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to safely operate a forklift and other mechanical equipment.
Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to read and comprehend measuring tools such as a tape measure.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Qualifications: Must be willing to learn and practice continuous improvement techniques such as, but not limited to, 5S and set-up reduction. The ability to participate and lead in a team-oriented environment with the willingness to assist and train others. Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant safety goals in a continuous improvement process. Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
