Braun Northwest, Inc. (BNW) is now hiring for an Assembly Technician in Chehalis, WA.
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time between 5:00am and 6:00am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $21-$28/hr DOE/DOQ.

Essential Functions
· Safely and efficiently use small hand tools to assemble tool box components.
· Follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and verbal direction to complete assembly tasks.
· Accurately measure materials using a tape measure and perform basic math as needed.
· Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency in all assemblies.
· Meet established production timelines and quality standards.
· Work effectively in a team environment to support overall production goals.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Regularly stand, bend, and move throughout the work area to complete assigned tasks.
· Document and follow assembly processes to support consistency and continuous improvement.
Other Functions
· Assemble and install toolbox components including panels, lids, hinges, latches, and hardware.
· Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
· Identify and report defects or inconsistencies in materials or assembly processes.
· Assist with minor adjustments or rework as needed to meet quality standards.
· Lift, carry, or move materials and components weighing up to 20 pounds.
· Support additional production or shop tasks as assigned.
· Work overtime as required to meet production demands.
· Other duties as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Basic Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Position Requirements:
These positions perform a wide variety of assembly tasks requiring a consistent level of quality. Must be able to work in a team setting and follow verbal and written instructions. Eye protection when using machinery is required. Although, toolbox is provided – employees must bring in their own tools. A full list of required tools are below.
Required Experience:
Experience utilizing basic carpentry and mechanical skills is required.
Knowledge Requirements:
Basic carpentry principles, basic principles of design and assembly techniques.
Use of Tools
Ability to safely and competently use the following tools and equipment:
· Table Saw
· Skill Saw
· Chop Saw
· Drill Press
· Buffers/Polishers
· Shear
· Band Saw
· Grinders
· Various hand tools
