We are a growing family-owned HVAC, plumbing, septic, and construction company seeking an experienced HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our team.
We’re looking for a dependable, motivated technician who can confidently diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Install furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, ductwork, and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal service on heating and cooling systems
- Inspect equipment and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
- Install and troubleshoot electrical controls, thermostats, and system components
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Complete service tickets, work orders, and required documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system operation and repair options
- Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- 3 years of HVAC service and installation experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience servicing and installing gas furnaces, boilers, central air systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
- HVAC certification or trade school education preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Sheet metal fabrication and ductwork experience is a plus
- Plumbing, electrical, or oil burner experience is a plus
