The Graphic Designer position will report to the VP of Marketing and work within the marketing team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery that drive the EyeSouth brand. Assignments will come from the affiliates via the Marketing Managers and other members of the executive team.

The Graphic Designer position will report to the VP of Marketing and work within the marketing team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery that drive the EyeSouth brand. - Creates designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
- Develops captivating social content and outstanding visuals that bring our brand to life and deeply engages the viewers.
- Develops graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Websites.
- Uses computer software to generate new images.
- Confers with team to discuss and determine layout design.
- Uses innovative creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas.
- Designs and produces marketing communications materials, including brochures, direct-mail postcards, sponsorship advertisements, invitation, and digital ads.
- Creates, contributes to, and coordinates the development and design of marketing materials.
- Transforms concepts into strong visual assets for our social, web and digital channels.
- Designs original pieces, including illustrations and infographics.
- Maintains brand consistency throughout all projects.
- Stays up to date with industry developments and tools.
- Oversees all design projects, from conception to delivery.
- Contributes to the team effort by completing other tasks/projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design required, or the equivalent years related experience.
- 3 to 5 years of lead designer roles experience required.
- Expert computer skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress and Microsoft Office; especially Word and PowerPoint. Experience with HTML and motion graphics preferred.
- Expert knowledge in graphic production process.
- Must have attention to detail to complete projects successfully.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team and drive performance improvement, demonstrated by progressive increases in management responsibility.
- Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams.
