Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, have a passion for helping patients look and see their best, and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
-Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses that fit their vision needs, lifestyle, and budget
-Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products
-Take accurate measurements for eyewear orders
-Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyeglasses as needed
-Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy of eyewear orders
-Process and track eyewear orders with laboratories
-Assist with insurance verification and billing related to optical services
-Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive optical dispensary
-Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships
-Support front office operations as needed
Qualifications:
-Previous optician experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
-Basic computer proficiency
-Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
