Location: Inside Convention Hall, Asbury Park Boardwalk, NJ
Schedule: part-time
Hours: Friday – Sunday 11AM – 6PM
Step into a one-of-a-kind art experience this summer on the Jersey Shore. We’re hiring Sales & Photography Associates for a premium iris photography gallery installation located inside the historic Convention Hall in Asbury Park.
This is a people-first position — your main focus is to engage customers, drive sales, and deliver a luxury experience. You’ll be trained on how to operate our professional camera setup to capture close-up eye portraits, but sales is your primary role.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and guide them through the art experience
- Promote and sell prints, custom frames, and art-based add-ons (e.g. jewelry, duplicates, digital files)
- Photograph customers’ irises using DSLR/mirrorless camera setup (we provide full training)
- Perform basic photo adjustments.
- Process sales through our POS system (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, visually elegant space consistent with our high-end branding
- Post daily Instagram stories/content from the experience
Ideal Candidates
- Polished, well-groomed, and professional — you are the face of a visually refined brand
- Absolutely no smoking (gallery standard)
- Outgoing and confident with strong people skills and a sales-driven mindset
- Comfortable using cameras and computers; Photoshop basics are a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work weekends or evenings as needed
- Can commit to a full or part-time summer schedule from May through September
