General Function:
To uncover the visual needs of our patients. Recommend the best procedures and products that meets those needs. Build Brand by exemplary Customer Service Experience. Join a dynamic optical team! Some optical retail helpful but willing to train the right candidate.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
- Personally assist customers by giving prompt, courteous and professional service.
- Knowledge of Optical Insurance
- Product Knowledge
- Knowledge of promotions, sales and discounts of Company
- Dispense optical eye wear in accordance with professional standards
- Performs repairs, adjustments, verifies accuracy of completed eye wear
- Instruct Contact Lens insertion and removal class
- Achieve established Sales and Customer Service objectives
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to travel
- Organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Be able to neutralize eyeglass lenses
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and algebra
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Optical Sales/Retail Sales and/or Customer Service work experience
- Able to work flexible hours including some nights and Saturday
