Office Assistant in Optometry Office in Costco

Seeking proactive candidates who enjoy helping people. Some evenings until 7pm and Fridays, Saturdays are required. Help us provide outstanding eye care services at EyeFellows & Associates inside Costco. We provide eye exams. We are seeking candidates who help in that process from start to finish. Responsibilities may include answering phones, greeting patients, training contact lens wearers, performing vision tests, ordering supplies, and helping make the patient process efficient.

We see 20-50 patients daily depending on if one or two doctors are scheduled. We will train you in all elements of patient care one step at a time. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail oriented, and have a sense of autonomy while also working within a group.

Our office is open Mon-Sat with exam times from 10am to 5-7pm daily. We have staff start around 8-9am and a closer finishes around 7-8pm (Saturdays ~5-6pm).

We do not process vision or medical insurance so the patient process is streamlined.

Previous experience in the optical field, customer service, reception, or patient care is preferred, but not required. We use Barti software so any experience with that is helpful. Otherwise, any patient care EHR system experience is also preferred.

Looking for full time candidates with a responsible work ethic. Benefits include 401k with 3% match, 1 week PTO accrual, 1 week sick accrual annually, holidays and birthday paid (Sunday holidays excluded) and free eye care.

Pay differential of $5/hr for Saturdays and other bonus structures in place for the office team.

About 30 hours per week are preferred with a flexible schedule so that you may fill in for those who may be sick or on vacation, or work less when there is no doctor scheduled. Full time benefits are for those who consistently work 30 hours per week.
