Job Summary
Eyecare Associates of Parsons, LLC is looking for a friendly, positive, and dependable Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our team.
This is an important patient-facing position. You will often be the first person our patients speak with and will help keep the front office organized and patient visits running smoothly.
Previous healthcare or medical-office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Candidates with strong experience in customer service, reception, banking, insurance, hospitality, or another professional office are also encouraged to apply.
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time, in-person position
- Monday through Friday, with every other Friday off
- Regular hours are approximately 7:45 a.m. to 5:00–5:15 p.m.
- Tuesday hours extend to approximately 6:30–6:45 p.m.
- $15–$17 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications
- Position available as soon as the right candidate is able to begin

Primary Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally
- Check patients in and out
- Answer telephone calls and assist patients with questions
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Collect and record patient payments
- Scan documents into electronic patient records
- Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments
- Enter and update information in the electronic health record
- Communicate clearly with patients, doctors, and other team members
- Protect patient confidentiality
- Help maintain an organized, accurate, and welcoming front office
As you become comfortable in the position, you will be cross-trained to work directly with patients by gathering information and performing preliminary testing before they see the doctor.

- Comfort spending much of the workday using a computer
- Ability and willingness to learn electronic health record software
- Ability to manage telephone calls, patients, appointments, and administrative duties accurately
- Patience and composure during busy periods
- Willingness to learn and help other members of the team
- Previous healthcare, medical-office, reception, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required
