Learn a new skill as a Front Office Medical Receptionist! We are seeking someone who loves a fast paced environment, loves working with people, has excellent communication skills, computer savvy, provides fantastic customer service, a team player, and is looking for a long term commitment with a company who cares about their employees. We will train the right candidate to join our other 8 Medical Receptionists! And there are opportunities for advancement. Tasks and qualities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be dependable. As part of team, your co-workers rely on you just as you will rely on your co-workers.
- Greet and direct flow of patients through the office- this includes scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, collecting fees for services as well as scheduling for outside consultations or referrals
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Multi-line phone system
- Strong computer aptitude
- Great people skills and a five star customer service attitude
- Resourceful
Preferred knowledge, but not mandatory because we will train the best applicant
- Knowledge of optometry medical terms and services a plus
- Familiar with vision plans and coverage
