Eye Care for the Adirondacks is the largest comprehensive eye care practice in the North Country. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our leadership team.
This position works closely with senior leadership and plays an important role in shaping organizational culture, employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and long-term workforce development.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Employee retention and engagement
- Payroll administration (ADP preferred)
- Benefits administration
- Performance management and KPI tracking
- HR compliance and personnel records
- Employee relations and support
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant Human Resources experience will be considered.
Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other Human Resources certification.
- Knowledge of Federal and New York State employment laws
- Payroll experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
