Job Role Summary
A Technical Team Lead is a recognized individual who supports their supervisor with the coordination activities for the work group. Typically has achieved their ECM and has recognized strong technical skills. Provides guidance to team members about geoscience best practices, provides technical coaching and mentoring of the team, and distributes project roles and deliverables to the team members to keep the appropriate work balance.
The Team Lead must have achieved their ECM and demonstrate strong technical skills. Other desirable attributes include;
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including an ability to work within a global team,
- Strong communication skills,
- Good analytical skills including problem analysis and resolution,
- Good knowledge of the TQF and Geoscience Best Practices to assist other team members,
- Strong mentor,
- Planning and coordination skills and high level network skills,
- Familiar with Project Life Cycle /Gates & Milestones/EMCAPS/XFDB,
- Knowledge and adherence to ExxonMobil System of Management Control & MPI.
