Job Summary
Software does two things: that which was intended and that which was not. The goal of our software security efforts is to prevent, detect, and respond to the presence of security flaws that cause unintended and/or undesirable behavior. The practice covers software from all sources, including purchased, contracted, and internally developed software, and stewards the security throughout the product’s entire lifecycle. This includes procurement, sourcing, design, development, implementation, deployment, production, and decommissioning. In-scope software includes web and thick-client applications, mobile applications, ERP systems, Cloud/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings, and the application layer of emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) and other distributed and/or embedded systems such as Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Supervisor Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
