The Role
We’re seeking an entry level Production Associate to help with assembly processes as we bring production in-house. This includes supporting existing assembly processes and general production activities. You will be an early hire to join the production/assembly department and there is a direct growth path towards becoming a full time Assembly Technician and beyond to support Exum’s rapid growth.
What You’ll Do
Support production activities:
o Ingestion of incoming parts and basic inspection
o Part preparation for vacuum systems
o Warehouse inventory maintenance
- Labeling bins for new parts, storage of cleaned parts for kitting, maintaining organization and inventory count
o Basic sub-assembly of systems and kitted accessories
o Crating of finished instruments and accessories for sale
Documentation:
o Use existing build instructions and workflows while helping to improve or creating new
o Drive efficiency with ideas; identify improvements and easier ways to do something
What You Bring
- No degree necessary, but desire to learn and grow into full time assembly technician is preferred
- Eye for details, preference to work efficiently, and comfort following multi-step processes will set you apart
- Familiarity with CAD systems and quality systems is not necessary, but would be useful as we intend you to grow into larger roles over time
- Proven ability to work with multi-step processes, solve problems, use basic instructions, and thrive in changing environments
- Ideal candidates have experience at scientific instrument, aerospace, automotive, or medical companies
Location
On-site, part-time at Exum headquarters in Denver, CO
Pay/Benefits
- Part time role; 20-30hr/week at $25/hr
- Time off always approved depending on schedule and situtation
