Position Overview
We are currently looking to add a technician to assist with daily service and installation work.
This position is hands-on and field-based, working directly on job sites across the DFW area and occasionally throughout Texas.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and upgrade security camera and low-voltage systems
- Run and terminate data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber is a plus)
- Assist with prewire, trim-out, and finish-out phases of commercial projects
- Troubleshoot system and network issues
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Provide a high level of customer service on every job
- Work from ladders, lifts, and in commercial/industrial environments
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in low voltage or data cabling
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with security cameras, access control, or networking
- Experience with large cabling projects or data centers
- Basic understanding of IP networking
