Overview
We’re looking for a fun, enthusiastic Dance Instructor who’s excited to help students of all ages discover the joy of dance and movement!
In this paid role, you’ll create engaging lessons, teach a variety of dance styles, and build a welcoming space where every student feels comfortable being creative and expressing themselves. We’d love someone who brings positive energy, experience in multiple dance styles, and fresh ideas for making classes inspiring and enjoyable.

Responsibilities
- Teach from well-rounded dance curricula designed for different ages and experience levels, covering choreography, technique, and performance skills.
- Lead fun, high-energy classes that build confidence, encourage teamwork, and help students grow as dancers and performers.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where every student feels included and supported.
- Adapt your teaching style to meet different learning needs, including supporting children with disabilities or individual learning requirements.
- Work with students to create choreography for recitals and performances, offering helpful feedback and plenty of encouragement along the way.
- Bring in elements of music, theater, and visual art to make classes even more creative and engaging.
- Keep lesson plans, attendance records, and progress notes organized and up to date.
- Requirements
- Experience teaching dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop. Choreography experience is a strong plus.

- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt dance activities for a wide range of ages and skill levels, from preschoolers to adults.
- Strong classroom management skills and a talent for creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience working with children, teens, or youth programs. Knowledge of child development is helpful.
- Familiarity with performing arts education, theater techniques, or visual arts integration is a bonus.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
