The Sr. Manager of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, securing, and expanding strategic customer relationships across OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, dealerships, and other automotive logistics clients. This role focuses on market expansion, sales strategy execution, and long-term account development to align company services with evolving customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, dealerships, and other automotive logistics clients
- Lead strategic partnership development and manage key customer accounts to drive retention and growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company revenue, margin, and market expansion objectives
- Prospect and secure new clients across automotive sectors including dealerships, manufacturers, rental agencies, and auctions
- Represent the company at industry conferences and customer forums to promote capabilities and brand presence
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
- Monitor and report on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform growth strategy

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6 years' of industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or strategic partnerships within the automotive or logistics industry
- Experience supporting or leading RFP/RFQ processes, including pricing strategy and solution design
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across Operations, Finance, IT, and Sales.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership and external partners.
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
