Job Title: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) & Data Integration– 2026 Summer Internship
Location: New York City
Duration: 8 weeks (Monday June 8th to Friday July 31st)
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Department Summary:
The HRIS department oversees the ongoing management and enhancement of HRIS platforms to ensure system updates and functionality meet organizational needs. Lead comprehensive testing efforts and develop strategies to optimize data quality, flow, and integration across HR processes. Produce business intelligence reporting that supports data‑driven decision‑making throughout the organization. Maintain strong audit and governance practices to ensure compliance and uphold data integrity across all HR systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with reviewing existing HR role configurations and identify areas needing updates or redesign.
- Assist in hands-on system testing and documenting results.
- Help prepare communication materials and job aids as the rollout progresses.
- Document data flows, system dependencies, and integration points across platforms.
- Work within the UKG Test Environment to complete tasks related to non-employee population data.
Required Qualifications:
- Only accepting rising Sophomores (grad year May 2029) and rising Juniors (grad year May 2028).
- Must have a minimum overall 3.4 GPA.
- Must be able to commute to NYC 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday)
Role Summary:
Mutual of America’s Summer Internship Program provides college students with hands-on corporate experience working with meaningful projects and assignments. Throughout the 8-week program, interns will not only have direct guidance from experienced leaders in their assigned departments but can have the opportunity to attend training classes and planned events with other interns.
