Business Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in a company-wide ERP transformation. This newly created position will support the implementation, optimization, and long-term administration of a new ERP platform while serving as a critical resource for business systems and process improvements.

The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with leadership, end users, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams to support system configuration, testing, reporting, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business challenges through technology, improving processes, and serving as the connection between technical teams and business users.

Prior experience with the specific ERP platform is not required. Candidates with experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, manufacturing systems, or software implementations are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ERP implementation, rollout, and ongoing system administration.
• Partner with implementation teams to learn system functionality, configuration, and best practices.
• Assist with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancements.
• Help transition business processes from legacy systems into a standardized ERP environment.
• Serve as an internal resource for ERP support, user questions, and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain reports using ERP reporting tools; Crystal Reports experience is a plus.
• Support integrations between ERP platforms, production equipment, and other business applications.
• Work with operations, production, and leadership teams to identify process improvements and increase system utilization.
• Assist with change management initiatives and prioritize future system enhancements.
• Train users on ERP functionality and promote best practices.
• Coordinate with external IT providers and software support resources when needed.
• Travel between company locations as needed during implementation and future system rollouts.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, or business systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP implementations, business applications, or manufacturing systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP administration or implementation experience (any ERP platform).
• Manufacturing or production environment experience.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and data flow between applications.
• Experience supporting software implementations across multiple locations.
• Background in business process improvement, user training, or change management.

Education:

Experience is valued more than a specific degree. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
