Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security threats or breaches
- Control access points through sophisticated access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by executing established procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, or fire safety protocols
- Conduct thorough background checks on new hires or vendors as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security regulations
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any suspicious activity, security breaches, or accidents with clarity and accuracy
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for patrols or equipment management
- Engage in conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining safety
Skills
- Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong surveillance skills
- Knowledge of CCTV operation, access control systems, and loss prevention techniques

- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors
