This role requires a data-driven, strategic thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices to drive top-line growth, profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement short and long-term commercial and revenue strategies to achieve property-level revenue goals.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, including competitive pricing, demand forecasting, and trend identification.
- Optimize pricing, inventory allocation, and distribution channels (OTA, GDS, direct) to maximize revenue.
- Perform unconstrained demand analysis to determine optimal business mix.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual Rooms revenue budget.
- Prepare accurate short-term and long-term forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Channel Management:
- Oversee all distribution channels, ensuring accurate content, pricing, and availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OTAs and other key distribution partners.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment:
- Collaborate on the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives that support revenue management goals and enhance the hotel’s market position.
- Develop and execute strategies for group bookings, corporate accounts, and other key revenue-generating contracts.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, occupancy, and competitive share.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to management.
- Utilize industry data sources (STR, Agency 360, etc.) for data-driven decision making.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and develop the Revenue Management team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure efficient and effective daily operations, including inventory management and pricing decisions.
- Monitor and address operational issues that impact revenue performance.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience in the Commercial/Revenue Management field required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred Experience:
- Luxury/Upper Upscale Lifestyle experience
- In-depth knowledge of ski resort markets
- Experience with Hilton systems and processes
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry reporting, regulations, and best practices
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong understanding of revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and other relevant software.
