Job Duties:
- Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, the mechanisms of an engine.
- In-depth knowledge of components & operational mechanisms.
- Superior knowledge of maintenance tools & repair equipment.
- Make major and minor engine repairs on vehicles.
- Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles.
- Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems & other relevant electronics.
- A valid driver's license.
- Follow company protocols and OSHA safety regulations.
- Properly keep and maintain equipment, work and storage area clean at all times.
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing more than 25 pounds
- Regular bending, kneeling, crouching, turning and twisting
- Carrying, pushing, or pulling supplies and equipment
Applicant eligibility and requirements
- Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
- All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screen and successfully completing a background check.
- Must be punctual, dedicated, work safely, and have a positive attitude.
- Able to abide by all safety requirements.
