What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager position at Expressive Lighting Inc.?
Brooklyn based lighting company is looking to hire a capable and motivated Assistant Project Manager to assist with jobs.
Job Requirements:
· Keep an updated and accurate log of all orders
that are placed.
· Track both new orders placed by the project
manager, and coordinate returns.
· Coordinate deliveries between shipping companies
and clients to ensure products are delivered correctly.
· Keep up to date order status sheets for each
active job that display the status of the current order, the manufacturer, item
description, shipping company, and tracking number.
· Follow up with the reps and manufacturers to get
estimated ship dates, tracking numbers, packing slips, and proof of deliveries
for every order placed.
· Maintain a friendly and helping relationship
with both the clients and reps.
· Create closeout packages and submittal packages
for jobs.
· Must create Sales orders based off of the
initial agreed upon proposals from clients.
· Once pricing is obtained from each rep and
factory, and the client wants the fixtures released, purchase orders are to be
created.
· If these fixtures are not on the initial
contract, Estimates need to be written, sent, signed and approved by the client
before purchasing.
· Must be able to read blueprints.
· Must have a general understanding of lighting
· Must be able to do takeoffs if the count is off
for a particular fixture.
· Must be able to multitask.
