What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stone Countertop Installer position at Expression Countertops?
Overview
We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Stone Countertop Installer to join our two-man install crew. In this role, you'll install quartz and granite countertops in homes and businesses, taking pride in doing quality work and making sure every customer is happy with the finished job. Every day brings something a little different, so you'll need to be comfortable reading job drawings, working with your hands, and solving problems on the job site. If you show up on time, work well with others, and take pride in doing things right the first time, you'll fit in well with our team.
Duties
- Prep cabinets and work areas to make sure everything is level, square, and ready for installation
- Install countertops using the proper tools and fastening methods for a secure, long-lasting fit
- Check your work throughout the install to make sure it meets quality and safety standards
- Work with the shop crew and office staff to keep jobs on schedule and customers happy
- Read and follow drawings, layouts, and job prints to ensure accurate installations
- Finish each job with caulking, trimming, sealing, and final cleanup to leave a clean, professional result
Qualifications
- Experience installing stone countertops or working in a related trade like carpentry, cabinetry, or masonry
- Able to read blueprints, layouts, and job drawings with confidence
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Good understanding of safe work practices and attention to quality on every job
- Experience working around plumbing, cabinets, drywall, and other finish trades
- Ability to solve problems in the field and make sure installations fit and look excellent

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
