As our CMM Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll be a key partner to production and engineering—verifying precision-machined parts meet customer and engineering requirements the first time and every time.
You will- Own first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Operate CMM equipment to validate dimensions and features
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, and other tools confidently
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and welding symbols
- Calibrate and maintain gages; keep inspection stations audit-ready
- Execute and support ISO quality audits and procedures
- Capture inspection data, generate reports, and document nonconformances
- Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Coordinate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality concerns quickly
- Minimum 1 year in manufacturing quality inspection
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Blueprint literacy and strong GD&T comprehension
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
- CMM experience (Mitutoyo, CMM-Manager, or similar preferred)
- Understanding of welding symbols and basic weld inspection
- Detail orientation and solid problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Full-time stability in a clean, modern facility
