Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for moving, staging, loading, and organizing materials while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or using warehouse equipment
- Stage, sort, and organize products for shipping and receiving
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies
- Label, scan, and track inventory using basic warehouse systems
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
- Support inventory counts and general warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is an advantage (training may be provided)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
