Express Monument is a fast-paced, family-owned memorial business that is rapidly expanding. We help families create custom headstones and memorials for their loved ones. As the industry leader, we provide excellent communication, fast turnaround times, and compassionate customer service during an important time in our customers’ lives.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an organized, proactive, and personable Sales Administrator to become the first point of contact for our customers.
This is not a cold-calling sales position.
This is a customer-focused administrative role centered around communication, relationship building, organization, and follow-through. You will help guide prospective customers through the early stages of the sales process while ensuring every lead receives prompt, professional, and compassionate communication.
The right person will enjoy talking with people, solving problems, staying organized, and helping customers move forward during an important decision-making process.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead & Customer Communication
- Respond to inbound leads via phone, text message, email, and web forms
- Contact customers who schedule phone appointments
- Answer questions regarding pricing, monument options, cemetery requirements, and next steps
- Follow up with prospective customers
- Ensure no lead falls through the cracks
- Maintain prompt response times and excellent customer service
Sales Administration & CRM Management
- Manage and organize leads within our CRM system
- Track customer communications and follow-up activities
- Update customer records and maintain accurate notes
- Monitor sales pipeline activity and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Assist in moving customers from initial inquiry to placing an order.
- Coordinate smooth handoff to our Design Coordinator once a customer is ready to move forward
Customer Experience & Project Support
- Provide updates and answer customer questions throughout the process
- Send reminders and coordinate customer communications in regards to status updates
- Notify customers once order is delivered.
- Help maintain the exceptional customer experience our company is known for
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with general office administration
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation
- Support team projects and process improvements
- Provide occasional assistance with delivery scheduling and operational coordination as needed

Preferred Experience
We are more interested in finding the right person than a specific industry background.
Experience with CRM software is strongly preferred.
Monument industry experience is not required.
