Production Lead

Located in Appleton, WI

Salary: $19-22/hr.

Hours: 1st Shift

1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $19-22/HR

Duties:

• • • This individual would be working in our Custom Products department where we are hand nailing pallets together. This individual would be assisting the Supervisor in setting up jobs, working with the forklift operator on getting the right material, and working with the employees to nail the pallets together. While doing so, this individual would be checking for quality.
    • Please note - this individual would still be hand building pallets with employees, not standing and watching over employees. They will be active working alongside employees when building jobs.
    • The right candidate would have the leadership skills to motivate and drive quality and efficiency with the employees they are working with. The right candidate does NOT necessarily need to have experience with pallets or even manufacturing, we can train. They must be willing to work alongside employees and have the leadership skills to grow within this role and future leadership roles.

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting
• Proficient with forklifts; forklift certification is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
