Credit Union in New Hartford is seeking a Member Service Representative to fill a long term-temporary assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Serve as the primary liaison for introducing members to the Credit Union's ATM technology, as well as conducting traditional teller transactions.
- Retain, Expand, and Acquire relationships by referring and cross selling credit union products and services through courtesy calls or in person.
- Record encounters with current and prospective members in the credit union CRM system for tracking purposes.
- Accurately perform account servicing and file maintenance as required.
- Adhere to all credit union and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable compliance, operational, and risk controls in accordance with credit union or regulatory standards and policies, with particular attention to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the SAFE Act.
- Demonstrates community engagement and involvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to adapt to different software applications as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
