Sitework Equipment Operator - Grading & Excavation

Imagine starting your morning with equipment inspections, carving clean trenches with an excavator by mid-morning, pushing grade with a dozer after lunch, and wrapping the day by documenting machine hours and maintenance notes. Safety is constant; teamwork is how you win.

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes with care, control, and efficiency.
• Conduct routine checks and basic service to ensure machines run reliably.
• Champion safety protocols and compliance on every task.
• Collaborate with the crew to achieve schedule and budget goals.
• Escalate equipment issues and safety hazards to the supervisor without delay.
• Support site preparation, grading, and cleanup activities.
• Maintain complete, accurate records of equipment use and maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated heavy equipment operating experience in construction or industrial work.
• Required: practical experience with bulldozers and excavators.
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate heavy equipment certifications.
• Deep familiarity with safety practices and jobsite regulations.
• Independent problem-solver who also contributes effectively to a team.
• Effective communicator on fast-moving sites.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
