The ideal candidate will have experience working with concrete in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. This role involves supporting all aspects of concrete pouring, setting, finishing, and site preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of concrete forms, rebar, and other materials.
- Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete for various construction projects.
- Operate power tools and hand tools including saws, vibrators, screeds, and trowels.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and removing debris.
- Smooth and level surfaces using various finishing tools.
- Follow proper safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist concrete finishers and foremen with tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in concrete or general construction labor is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with concrete tools and equipment is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Must be a team player and take direction well.
Salary : $18
