Web Coating Machine Technician

Location: New Hartford, CT

Employment: Full-Time

Schedule: Night Shift (with Day Shift training 5AM–5PM)

• Do you notice product defects before anyone else does?
• Are you comfortable turning specs into repeatable machine settings?
• Do you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment?

• Operate and oversee adhesive coating equipment: slot-die, gravure, and roll coaters
• Mix, stage, and handle adhesive materials to formula and specification
• Dial in speed, temperature, and coating thickness to meet targets
• Inspect the web for streaks, bubbles, or uneven coverage and correct promptly
• Clean equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance between runs
• Troubleshoot minor issues; identify and report larger mechanical problems
• Record production data: batch records, material usage, and runtime logs
• Practice rigorous safety protocols, PPE usage, and proper chemical handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready workstation

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in coating, laminating, converting, or similar processes (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read work orders, specs, and SDS
• Quality-first mindset and strong attention to detail
• Clear communicator and dependable teammate
• Willing and able to train on Day Shift (5AM–5PM)
