Counterbalance Forklift Specialist, Warehouse Logistics

You begin your shift with a quick equipment check, confirming your sit-down forklift is inspection-ready. Moments later, you’re positioning pallets, loading outbound trailers, and staging inbound freight. Throughout the day, you’ll coordinate with teammates to hit production targets, update inventory movements on the computer, and keep aisles organized for optimal flow. Before wrapping up, you’ll log any maintenance needs and ensure everything is secured for the next shift.

• Operate a sit-down (counterbalance) forklift to move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining accurate counts and documentation.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety procedures to protect people, product, and equipment.
• Maintain an orderly warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and access.
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve daily production goals.
• Record inventory transactions and report any discrepancies immediately.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Hands-on experience with sit-down forklifts preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Capable of lifting heavy items and performing physical work.
• Clear communicator and dependable team player.
• Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and reporting.
