Accountant –

This position plays an important role in keeping our clients financial operations organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include managing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with general accounting tasks that support the company’s daily operations and long-term growth. High attention to detail, accuracy, dependable self-starter and proactive thinking skills are a must. Having an outside of the box, new age accounting mindset is also desirable for this position.

Salary $70,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  *   Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries

  *   Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

  *   Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  *   Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

  *   Generate invoices and track customer payments

  *   Monitor job costing and project-based expenses

  *   Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting

  *   Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements, cash summaries and balance sheets

  *   Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

  *   Support audits and provide documentation as needed

  *   Coordinate with management on financial performance and cost control

  *   Employee Benefits Management

  *   Vehicle & Insurance Management assistance

Qualifications

  *   Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required

  *   2 years of accounting experience (construction or service industry experience a plus)

  *   Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)

  *   Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks required)

  *   Online Payroll Software experience preferred

  *   Online Credit card management preferred

  *   Online CRM/CMSS/SASS Customer Management Software experience preferred

  *   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  *   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  *   Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  *   Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  *   Experience with job costing or project-based accounting

  *   Familiarity with payroll processing

  *   Experience working in maintenance, construction, or field service industries

  *   Experience accounting for Subscription Based Business Models
