Accounting Clerk

·         Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors; research, track, and resolve complex accounting problems and discrepancies.

·         Code and input data (invoices, checks, account statements, reports) into financial processing systems according to company procedures; work in QuickBooks to support the company.

·         Review A/P for accuracy and ensure proper approvals are in place; process credit cards payable and accounts payable to ensure payments are current; audit bills against purchase orders.

·         Generate and distribute customer invoices, credit memos, internal sales orders, and account statements; add, receive, and post customer payments and credits to specific accounts.

·         Manage the collections process for past-due accounts, conferring with customers to resolve payment delays; audit invoices against purchase orders and research discrepancies.

·         Prepare checks, account statements, and reports; assist with project and job cost reporting; reconcile report discrepancies and assist with expense report tracking.

·         Compile and sort documents (bills, checks, purchase orders) substantiating business transactions; maintain digital and physical records by scanning and filing.

·         Assist employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.

·         Assist with licensing compliance and other regulatory documentation.

·         Assist with special projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
