We are currently hiring Material Handlers for a busy electrical component manufacturing facility in West Milwaukee. This is a 2nd shift opportunity working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where team members play a key role in keeping materials organized and production running efficiently. Candidates with stand-up reach truck, sit-down forklift, or stock truck experience are encouraged to apply, though previous equipment experience is not required.
Shift Details- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Mandatory overtime as needed
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
- Conversion to permanent employment may be available based on business needs and open positions
- No interview required
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
Fill orders and issue materials and supplies as requested
Operate material handling equipment such as:- Forklifts
- Reach trucks
- Pallet jacks
- Cherry pickers
- Walking riders
- EZ-Go carts
- Hand trucks and dollies
Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain inventory organization and material flow
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Perform general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Reach truck, forklift, or stock truck experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to read labels, tickets, and product documentation
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks
- Ability to lift, push, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift in varying warehouse temperatures
- Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Jeans or canvas work pants
- Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear required
- No shirts displaying explicit or offensive content
