Daily Responsibilities:Responsible for driving to customer locations, loading, and installing granite/quartz countertops into customer homes and/or businessesInstall granite, quartz and solid surface countertops, sinks, and other related products at customer locations in accordance with industry procedures and standardsAbility to safely handle power tools to hand polish, cut, grind, and shape countertops to make adjustments as needed to complete the assigned project.Ensure service vehicle has the proper tools and supplies to do complete each job dailyCommunicate with clients via phone in a professional and courteous mannerPresent yourself in a professional manner, maintaining the image of KG StevensProvide progress, status, and troubleshooting reports via phone, text and/or email to managementUpdate web-based job tracking software with job related photographyDrive company vehicle as needed, in a safe and courteous manner, obeying all local, state, and federal traffic laws, while completing scheduled customer visits as timely and efficiently as possibleEngage in safe work practices in addition to the required use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)May occasionally work on special projects or perform other duties as assignedThe Ideal Candidate Would:Have a High School diploma/GED with some trade related education and/or equivalent work experienceReliable, safety conscious and able to work flexible hours and overtime as neededBasic carpentry/building skills required.Be able to measure accurately, use a level and a caulk gunHave an extraordinarily strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team in a timely manner towards the completion of each assigned jobEnjoy problem solving in a fast-paced environment.Possess exceptional customer service skills have an ability to calmly respond to complaintsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsValid and current driver’s license with a reasonable driving history in the past 5 yearsWorking Conditions / Physical RequirementsThe employee may occasionally be exposed to airborne particles and moderate to high noise levels while working with power tools in the field. Safety equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, ear protection and hard hats are provided for employees.Heavy lifting (100 lbs.), kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing for extended periods of time, and other physical demands are required.
