To operate and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with precision measuring tools, and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues on the spot.

To operate and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with precision measuring tools, and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues on the spot.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines (Citizen, Tsugami, Star, etc.)
- Load bar stock, install tooling, and adjust offsets as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and GD&T symbols
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges
- Monitor machine cycles and make adjustments to ensure part quality
- Document production data, inspection results, and any nonconforming product
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies and 5S/Lean manufacturing practices
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve machining or quality issues
- 2 years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T
- Strong skills in precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work 2nd shift (10-12-hour shift or standard 2nd shift depending on company needs)
