CNC Lathe & Milling Machine Operator/Machinist #COH
Location: Mentor, OH
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay:$21-$26 an hour

Our client is seeking skilled CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operators and/or Set up operator to join their growing team. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with CNC equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Setup & Operation:
  Set up and run CNC lathes and milling centers according to job specifications.

• Programming & Editing:
  (For Programmers) Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using software or manual code input directly at the machine.

• Monitoring & Adjustments:
  Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments to speeds, feeds, and tooling to ensure consistent output and quality.

• Quality Control:
  Inspect parts during and after production to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances and specifications.

• Maintenance:
  Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tool changes, cleaning, and basic machine upkeep.

• Experience with CNC Machinery:
  Knowledge of lathe and milling center setup, tooling, operation, and programming.

• Problem-Solving Skills:
  Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.

• Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation:
  Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints.

• Attention to Detail:
  Strong focus on accuracy and quality to ensure precision in every part produced.

• Safety-Focused:
  Adheres to all safety guidelines and practices in a manufacturing environment.
