Key Responsibilities
- Setup & Operation: Set up and run CNC lathes and milling centers according to job specifications.
- Programming & Editing: (For Programmers) Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using software or manual code input directly at the machine.
- Monitoring & Adjustments: Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments to speeds, feeds, and tooling to ensure consistent output and quality.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts during and after production to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances and specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tool changes, cleaning, and basic machine upkeep.
- Experience with CNC Machinery: Knowledge of lathe and milling center setup, tooling, operation, and programming.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality to ensure precision in every part produced.
- Safety-Focused: Adheres to all safety guidelines and practices in a manufacturing environment.
