About the Role

As our Bobst Die‑Cutting Press Specialist, you’ll set up, run, and maintain Bobst flatbed die‑cutters to produce top‑quality packaging. This role calls for a keen eye, mechanical know‑how, and a commitment to getting it right the first time. Prior Bobst machine experience is required.
A Day in the Life- Review job tickets, CAD drawings/blueprints, and specifications to plan your make‑ready.
- Install tooling and complete machine set‑up, ensuring proper register, pressure, and alignment.
- Run first‑article checks and in‑process inspections to verify quality standards are met.
- Operate the Bobst die‑cutter efficiently, monitoring throughput and waste to hit production goals.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and keep the press running smoothly.
- Document results, maintain a clean, safe work area, and follow all safety procedures.
- Hands‑on experience operating Bobst die‑cutting equipment (preferred/required for success).
- Ability to read blueprints/dielines and accurately use measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with sharp attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Background in packaging or printing environments.
- Knowledge of die‑cutting processes, materials, and tooling.
- Forklift experience a plus.
