Express Employment Professionals, Irvine is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an aerospace and defense contractor in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time, permanent, evaluation hire opportunity. Starting compensation is $26.00 to $30.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Pulling orders using Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Inspecting inbound shipments
- Booking and tracking outgoing shipments
- Responding to information requests
- Tracking and managing inventory
- Building, palletizing and shrink-wrapping orders
- General warehouse tasks
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of shipping software (i.e. FedEx, UPS)
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively
- History of dependability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
