Aluminum MIG/TIG Fabrication Welder
Step into a day where your welding accuracy shapes real products. On the NE side of Marion County, you’ll clock in for a first-shift schedule, Monday–Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime when production ramps up. You’ll review blueprints, prep materials, and move seamlessly from MIG to TIG—especially on aluminum—bringing parts together with clean, consistent welds.
What you’ll do- Perform MIG, TIG, and aluminum welding with a focus on quality and consistency
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan weld sequence and final fit-up
- Assemble components and complete general warehouse prep as needed
- Handle materials safely; assist with staging, movement, and organization
- Set up machines and fixtures; perform occasional arc welding
- Minimum 2 years of MIG experience and proven aluminum welding capability (required)
- Comfort reading blueprints and a tape measure
- Background in fabrication and machine set-up
- Personal weld helmet
- Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the shift
- 1st shift, Monday–Friday (occasional mandatory overtime)
- Pay: $20–$29/hour BOE
