Key Responsibilities
- Strategic sourcing & cost optimization: Develops and executes seafood purchasing strategies that meet customer needs while keeping costs and operations efficient.
- Procurement & coordination: Manages buying processes and collaborates with internal teams (logistics, production, etc.) to ensure timely supply and smooth operations.
- Supplier relationship management: Builds strong partnerships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and reliable long-term supply.
- Market & sales alignment: Monitors market trends, analyzes sales and competition, and works with the sales team to support pricing, promotions, and product decisions.
- Inventory & logistics oversight: Tracks inventory, forecasts demand, and ensures transportation and delivery schedules are followed correctly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or other related field preferred
- 3 years of related experience
- Prior experience in the seafood industry
- Advanced knowledge in category management and product development.
