Maintenance Technician - $30/hour - $40/hour
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician in the city of Long Beach, CA.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours as well as perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, support equipment, and plant facilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on air conditioning systems and cooling systems as well as perform Maintenance Mechanic activities that may include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, robot, and PLC
- Read and interpret equipment manuals necessary to perform repairs to required machinery
- Detect faulty operations/machinery and report findings to the Maintenance Manager promptly
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary by the Maintenance Manager
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems
Experience with plastic injection molding machine is required
High School Diploma or GED is required
Must have a valid Driver License to operate a forklift
Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and reach in various directions as well as able to be mobile in tight or uneven spaces
Great verbal and written communication skills as well as good hand dexterity
Ability to safely trace electrical circuits with a multi-meter and wiring schematic to find faulty components
