Category Manager – Retail Sourcing & Merchandising (Travel Retail)

Miami-Dade | $85,000–$100,000 10% bonus

About the Role

We’re recruiting for a Category Manager to oversee sourcing, merchandising, and supplier negotiations within the travel retail sector. This is a high-visibility role that drives sales growth, optimizes assortments, and strengthens supplier partnerships at a national level.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing strategies in partnership with global category leadership.
• Negotiate with local/domestic suppliers to ensure margin and compliance.
• Develop and coordinate promotions with Marketing and Operations teams.
• Monitor and analyze commercial performance: sales, margins, inventory, supplier terms.
• Review assortments, manage stock levels, and liquidate discontinued items.
• Ensure supplier contracts align with company policy and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• 5–7 years of retail experience, including 3 years in management.
• Strong track record in category management, sourcing, or buying.
• Negotiation and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience in travel retail or jewelry buying a plus.
