Shipper Position

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a Shipper Position with a Filter Manufacturer located in Hopkinsville, KY. This position will pay $17.00 per hour, and the hours are M-F and some Saturdays from 6:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. Candidates must have a valid sit-down Forklift license with information about when trained and signatures from previous supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Spend 85% of time on forklift where needs to pay close attention to detail and be a safe driver due to the layout of the production floor
• Utilize forklift to move materials to be loaded onto or off of trucks and into the warehouse where needed and move materials that are completed from the line to the shipping area
• Enter into the system the correct information to acknowledge receipt and shipment of goods.
• Pack orders based on packing instructions with accurate counting and following packing requirements
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Has previous experience driving a Sit down and Stand up Forklift
• Must have a valid sit-down Forklift license with information about when trained and signatures from previous supervisor
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work overtime when needed
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of standing/walking on concrete for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to safety glasses or side shields and steel toed boots or shoes
