A local medical office is seeking a qualified, compassionate full-time Medical Office Assistant to perform a variety of tasks to help keep things running smoothly. We are looking for someone that is motivated, organized and reliable. And when working with the public, one must have excellent people skills!
Responsibilities:
As a medical office assistant, you will escort patients, record visits, review charts for test results, monitor supplies, maintain and clean all equipment, update and filing patients' medical records, fill out insurance forms, and scheduling appointments. Accept and perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or the equivalent.
- At least one year of previous work experience in a medical facility, with insurance verification
- Be neat, well groomed, and have a courteous, pleasant manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service and problem solving skills
- Clerical skills including word processing and filing
Evaluation-to-hire position
Hours are Monday through Friday – 8:00am - 5:00pm. Pay rate is $18.00/hour
