- Deliver code-compliant full-penetration welds following AWS D1.1.
- Assist with bolt-up beam installation and alignment for structural steel.
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and structural plans to drive sequence and quality.
- Validate weld quality and structural integrity to meet safety requirements.
- Work at elevation using scissor lifts (to approximately 18 ft) and on mezzanines (~9 ft).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Collaborate closely with the crew and supervision to achieve milestones.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Active AWS D1.1 certification with 3G and 4G proficiency.
- At least 3 years in structural welding.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
- Attention to detail, troubleshooting mindset, and ownership of quality.
- Ability to work independently and with a team under time constraints.
- Proficiency in Welding Setups for Production and Blueprint Reading.
